'Meet Me by the Shoreline' is perfect for the neutral colour lover with it's use of negative space allowing the beautiful colour and texture of the natural linen to shine through.
I took the reference photo for this painting on a summers morning at Semaphore Beach and loved the simplicity of this little snapshot.
The closer you are to this painting the more abstracted it becomes but once you step further away you can see the paintbrush marks, light and shadow form little waves hitting the sand.
